HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR - MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR - MAYO

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is an Irish based Mechanical & Process Engineering company
with its office manufacturing facility in Ballina Co Mayo. 

They operate as a service solutions provider to the Pharmaceutical,
Bio Pharmaceutical & Brewing Industries in Ireland.

They have a requirement for a full time health and safety officer to
work mainly from the office with occasional travel to client sites for
audits

Implementing, maintaining and improving the company safety management
system

Carrying out safety inspections/ PSCS duties

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant H&S Qualifications

2+ years’ construction experience

Experience of implementing and maintaining good Safety, Health,
Environmental and Quality practices on site. 

Carrying out weekly inspections on site, preparing and issuing of site
audit reports

Ensuring that all SHEQ documentation is updated to reflect current
legislation

Provide risk assessments, method statements, onsite training,
inductions etc

Experience maintaining ISO *,**Apply on the
website** and OHSAS * 

Flexible to travel across sites based in Mayo/Sligo
